Yea I honestly was shocked when no one decided to outbid. He's no Kronwall or Markov, but didn't think I'd get him for 3.

I could bid a bit more, but I don't see the need, I landed a few key roster spots and players I was interested in having on my roster for the next 3 years, but doesn't make much sense to pay for any bad contracts.

REMINDER
You will now see the "$" symbol on some UFA players.....
- After the initial bid on a player, if the player goes an entire day without a new bid he will then go "Pending" (denoted as $Player Name$), if he then goes an entire second day without a bid he will then be "Closed" and signed.
- To bid on a player that is set to close that day (marked as $) you must make a minimum raise of $250k (first team to bid only), all bids thereafter may be $100k raise.
- To bid on a player that is set to close that day (marked as $) AND you have NOT previously bid on that player then you must make a minimum raise of $500k (first team to bid only), all bids thereafter may be $100k raise

Looks like FA will end early this year. If you still have RFAs you wanna sign, get on it, once the UFAs are gone its over.

Super pleased to land Ronalds Kenins without a fight. Late bloomer but could turn into something not so bad.

I was surprised and pretty happy to get Jiri Sekac uncontested.

I thought Jon made out like a bandit getting Jooris and Scott Wilson (could be a sleeper for the Pens).
As well, impressive that Jim (Bruins) got 3 quality guys, uncontested.

It's always a debate whether to go for the big names or try to get a guy just below top names while others are focused on top guys.
I should have gone for Jooris, good pick up.

I don't imagine anyone will mind, but obviously I'm selecting some players for the Islanders to meet the minimums and add a little depth for the next GM.

I wanted to go after a few of those guys but could not afford bidding, so went for two guys I thought had solid value and would slip through but was worried about Chris stepping in and he did on my one guy I wanted.

Jooris and Sekac were both uncontested steals. I'm really scared to see what the winning Klingberg bid is gonna be.. Hoping it's mine but same time hoping it's not lol

I will have mixed emotions if I get Klingberg lol. We tend to pay for a unassigned players top end potential, rather than what they are likely to achieve when determining silent bids...
