Edmonton definitely went off the path! I like those picks because I like Darren. I actually like Barzal a bit more than Strome (really close) and Svechnikov to me is a top 10 talent too. I wish I had picked Barzal instead, can I change my pick??

I actually thought I liked Barzal more than Strome for the longest time, and who knows longterm. However, seeing both on the ice here recently, up close, Strome is the right choice at this point.

As an Isles fan I love all the Barzal talk and praise

I agree with Gavin Rantanen was a great pick and I've been a huge Meier fan as well.

Maybe a separate thread, but what would everyone's hockey name be if you could somehow combine a hockey player of past, present of future with your own. (Flashback: Growing up, some lads called me Rafalski or Ralph-alski, when we played hockey)

13. New York Rangers - Mikko Rantanen Excellent pick. I agree with Gavin. 10th pick came down to Crouse and Rantanen for me and even though I think the Finn is going to be a great player, there's something about Crouse I couldn't resist. He may not end up scoring the most points, but I think he'll be a difference maker as an NHLer.

Dammit, I was really hoping he'd drop to me at 29. Great pick Darren, you jerk...
