After all the side deals are done, Vegas might own half the first round of the entry draft!
Never thought I'd say I'd like to be George McPhee, but man, have to be envious of his situation right now. Not bad for a lad who traded Erat for Filip Forsberg!

I definitely wasn't a fan of the idea of expansion, but I must admit I'm pretty excited to see how this all plays out tomorrow night!

I like the idea of trying to think about what's going on in McPhees head..so many different directions he can go.

All the trade stuff was really weird since the majority weren't really trades but more like bribes. I really thought LV would end up with a better team, some of the picks just seemed strange in comparison to who they could have picked and flipped later. Tomorrow should definitely be interesting though!

Tomorrow should definitely be interesting though! I agree Jon - some of it must have been more "business" than on ice product in looking at the picks. In McPhee's shoes I would have swung for the fences on almost every pick. Appropriate that a Vegas GM taking "bribes" I guess ; ) Still some awesome pieces for the Falcons...err...Golden Knights. Shea Theodore and Alex Tuch and the extra first were excellent pieces to add. Also thought they'd take more goaltenders...weird... Pretty interesting process I have to say. And still some wheeling and dealing to be done with all the dman they amassed (some of the gone already of course). Still an interesting roster to start off with and some really good pieces to build around. Perhaps they do NOT want to be too good too fast with some awesome talents coming up in next couple of entry drafts...
