OK guys!
For those looking to make trades, sending offers and so on, I am not sure how things are going to go after Wednesday. Although I am 130 miles inland, as of right now Hurricane Florence is a CAT 4 and could be a 5 by time it hits land or damn close to it which meets I may have winds up to 60, 70 or 80 miles an hour but surely hoping for lower level winds and 15 to 20 inches of rain. If I lose electricity which I do not believe we will but never know what may come. I am still cheering for the US model which pushes Hurricane north at the coast toward out banks, we will still get lots of rain, just winds will not be as bad.
So with that said, send in trades offers and make them good ones so we do not have to go back and forth forever and at least be close!
Gavin in Richmond may get flooded some!

Stay safe Gavin, Ron and Kev (Car).
There is a tropical storm headed for the Caribbean Islands, which could get into the Gulf and intensify to hurricane strength and head my way.

Yeah, we're gonna get heavy flooding. Richmond floods during a normal Thunderstorm, so this'll be bad. They say its gonna sit on top of us, which is exactly what Gaston did and that caused all of downtown to flood, now they added new flood walls and stuff, but its never really been tested. I expect to lose power for up to a week.

Get your supplies to keep you right a few days, fill tub up in case flood hurt water supply, radio batteries and water or beer. Oh yeah lots of food easy to eat if you have electric stone. Most of all be safe pal.

I got a 300 water filter and 5 food safe buckets to store tap and have lived off grid before, Iโm excited, itโs my element.
Though what not excited about is the thousands of dollars of food at the three cafes I manage if they happen to lose power for an extended amount of time.

Stay safe all!
"Florence is expected to make landfall on Thursday and could become one of the most catastrophic hurricanes to hit the Eastern Seaboard in decades.
"Life-threatening freshwater flooding is likely from a prolonged and exceptionally heavy rainfall event," the National Weather Service said in an advisory.
The hurricane is also forecast to hit a stretch of coastline that's vulnerable to rising sea levels due to climate change, according to the Associated Press.
South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster ordered the state's entire coastline to be evacuated starting at noon Tuesday and predicted that 1 million people would flee."

I've lived in Michigan my entire life, so I couldn't imagine anything close to this. The closest thing I've ever had to worry about is the Tornado sirens going off, but usually because they just test them the first Saturday of every month.... In all seriousness though, stay safe guys.

Hopefully by time it gets there, winds be in 30s but rain that is different story. We are expecting anywhere between 12 inches to 2 feet of rain. Can only hope weather people keep their regular batting average and be wrong and hoping for a turn north. Many people living in trailers all around NC and down east there will be major flooding. be safe pal and hope your cafes do not lose power!
