Is it me or has there been a helluva lot more injuries this season? Trochek the latest victim last night, didn't watch the play but from what I read he either blew his knee out or ankle. Either way it's looking long term.
Other than that, seeing a lot of guys on the shelf with concussions too. With how much the game has changed and got faster, I'm surprised to see someone able to play in all 82. Maybe Phil the thrill Kessel knows the secret to longevity that others don't. Eat more hot dogs!

Injuries do seem pretty high, but it does really happen every year.
I think I've had almost half my JGHL roster get hurt already this season at some point, some are still out, some have gone out and come back already. Injuries are almost good for your player in our league, since "pro rating" can cause them to get high PA and SC ratings sorta "unnaturally" at the expense of DU and effective ice-time.

Yea that's actually a good point. Almost rather a guy get 0.8 ppg or above in 50 games than 0.7 or below in 82. Players coming off injury are also rested and hungry to finish strong. Just gotta make sure they actually come back, Kuznetsov and Oshie are both dealing with concussions without a timetable..
