UGH!
I spent so long compiling this info, and it looks TERRIBLE.
Didnt realise i couldnt paste into here. I have also put it as an attachment, I did a PPG calc, plus arrow up/down, I hope you enjoy it.
Habs Season.xlsx (14.87 KB)
Long story short, the Habs are finally looking like a team that can do some damage. We are the highest scoring team in the league, but our goalies are human sieves, and our D isnt helping them.
We have 7 forwards at .75 PPG or above, plus one defenceman.
Aho, Debrincat and RNH have taken big steps forward from potential stars, to actual stars up front.
Lindell and Nurse, while not putting up a ton of points, have cemented themselves as massive workhorses that can eat up 24+ minutes a game (i think hitchcock is nuts, he is the Tom Thibideau of the NHL, playing his players into the ground).
The biggest weakness of the team is the lack of clear cut A level prospects that arent currently on the Pro Roster, as it doesnt look like anyone other than last years #2 overall pick is going to be a star.
Well, that and getting in a #1 for next year. We have a great backup, but we know a trade is going to have to happen to get the guy we want.
