Helluva win in a wild west shootout, Jake! Strange times these be - I swear I submitted lines with Vasilevskiy as starter, but looks like his evil twin VASELINEvsky showed up with the pucks sliding right off him to the back of the net ; ) I don’t know how my team rotates between that and losing to bottom dwelling teams. You peppered Gibson though! The Calgary-SJ decade long rivalry is alive and well!

How are the rivalry games chosen for the schedule? What qualifies as a rivalry to the sim? Just curious

I like the idea of rivalries, but not the way they end up simming. Last time I had that on, there was a bunch of fights and like 300 penalty minutes for the combined teams. No thanks lol

I agree, rivalries as they stand don't seem to have any benefit, only negatives, so they are rather pointless. I like the idea, but the implementation is bad.

No thanks lol It’s also annoying as they often change year to year. Although I should just permanently change mine to Calgary and Vancouver I think. But I also I agree they sim terribly.

In a bit of a slump at present. Better now than in the playoffs.

Watch those teams from Pennsylvania, folks.
Ray's Flyers broke their l'il slump yesterday.
Mike's Defending Champs Pens surging at the right time...

Well it looks like the playoffs are set unless Washington goes on a run and Carolina loses a bunch!
Big battles left in 3 out 4 divisions with Nashville locked in as the #2 seed in West and Vancouver looking good for #1 seed and winner of the West.
Big battles left for Metro, although Philly has 5 games in hand over Pitt NY is still in running for top spot too.
Toronto and Montreal going down to wire but a painful loss to the hard playing Devils yesterday by Canadians.
the Pacific although bough Calgary and San Jose still have a small shot at Vancouver most likely they are battling for home ice.
Looks like it is going to be a great end of season run and a really competitive Playoffs.

My team has been so frustrating lately, don’t like my chances against Vancouver or Calgary. They are the favourites right now IMO, unless Montreal’s superstar roster gets it together for the playoffs.

I feel the same Jake. Just can't buy a win against elite teams all season, yours included. The ingredients are all there, but the recipe is missing that cayenne pepper to put it all together. I'll have it tough against those danky filthy Habs if I don't figure out this soup. Sorry just cooking and thoughts are heavy on that

I nearly shat a brick when I saw Matthews got injured in this game.
Dodged a massive bullet there!
