I think maybe its time to start doing the whole draft by list.
even if its only 5 picks at a time. 1-5, 6-10, 11-20, 21-26
this is just nuts... and its the same every year.. i let a pick expire on year by mistake cause i didnt know when i had to be on !

Things happen sometimes but it's time to get the show on the road... I still like Jon's time slot proposition...

Wouldnt that eliminate the possibility of making a big deal to get a draft pick though? I mean... it would be awfully hard for a team to try to move up or down in the draft if thats how would be done..

Ive had A LOT of conversatinos in the past about deals concerning picks.. sometimes ppl make the decision to hold onto them rather than deal them, but you cant underestimate the importance of that part of the entry draft and i for one would be immensely dissapointed if we took that away... thats half of the fun on draft day! seeing deals being made, and i just think we're trying to fix everything at this piont... things will move faster, just give it a chance.. the top 10 picks are very valuable.. relax!!

Honestly, i think us boys who are on the boards a lot take internet access for granted, i know i do, only because i hav it on my phone.. If i didn't tho, id only be able to come on the boards when im home. Having it on my phone allows me to go on when im at work, school and what not. But for those who cant go on until they get home, it might be tough to make picks on time. I feel that sometimes we tend to forget that ppl hav careers, jobs, and families. I agree tho that we should make time slots for next year so that it gives teams more sense of urgency. But until then, we might as well enjoy what may be a long, drawn out 1st round.

True enough Eug - I didn't have the luxury at wok at my last job a few yrs ago.
