Well it should be a good final game, if Isles win they get the Penquins, which will be an even tougher battle in next round, but if Rangers win they get Carolina, who has been riding on the back of Luongo since he arrived and then a major series between the Pens and Leafs. That could be a barn burner!!!!!
What will be be!!!!!!
In meantime the Devils are in California touring all the great golf courses played by the PGA tour and they have totally left behind the lost in first round and move on to their passion - Golf!!!!!!

Congrads Eug, if you can score 4 goals on 16 shots againest Cujo, your team is awesome. Good luck in the next rd. I hope O'Brien recovers from his ass kicking before next season. now lets see if i can do the same against luongo thanks Ray, good series!

Damn Yotes was hoping you would win to take on the Flames.
Guess I'll have to eliminate them myself.

Wow that was a tough first round. Great job Phoenix, I think you should be a nominee for GM of the year. You made some great moves this year and your team will only get better.
After a tiring series like that its going to be hard to take another one. It doesn't get any easier either, with Colorado next.
I'll do the Eastern round 2 predictions Thursday night.

Great come back N.Y. Isles I thought my team out played you the whole series but your stud stepped up in the last game when it counted for you good luck in the next series and the tradition continues for the Rangers up big and still looses a series but again great job and good luck

I wish my studs could step up... if it wasn't for my third line I wouldn't have made it past game 6!
Yashin - 8 points, +9 Franzen - 7 points, +4 Kris Draper - 4 points, +8 Shanahan - 2 points, -7 Selanne - 1 goal, -5 Kaberle - 2 goals, -7

After a tiring series like that its going to be hard to take another one. It doesn't get any easier either, with Colorado next. It should be a good series Sharky! You took the season series 3-2, but one of those wins came against Rinne, so I'll call the series 2-2 (14 goals a piece) Obviously it would help me out a lot if your top liners keep coming up short on the stat sheet. I'll be doing a little more line juggling than usual for this series to try and help that along. I think the key to the series for us is if we can get to DiPietro early in the series and force you to rest him a game or possibly even two. If his CD stays 100 for the series and your guys start to produce, I don't think we'll be making it through. Garon gets the start.

Got to agree with Ranger - Dave, wow - his team dominated Isles! Isles better show up next series against Pitt and Brodeur Maybe Crosby can put the hold Isle team on his back and carry them further, they will need some help from others no doubt.
Toronto over Carolina ( Sorry Kev) - I picked Toronot and Pitt early in season, so sticking with them
San Jose over Colorado, I thin Sharks had their tough series the next one should go 6.....
Calgary- Minny- although Calgary will win, Minny will give him all that he can handle - possibly go 7 especially if Chris does not stay on top of his team.. Minny may even be able to take series, but would need some luck too......
Well it is off to the first tee, got to lower handicap......

Shanahan played pretty well in game 7, scoring the winner in OT, so I'll put him back on line 1. I'm afraid DiPietro's CD will drop after game 1 so Holmqvist and Stana will play in net tonight. It would be nice to steal a win with Holmqvist, but my hopes arn't very high. Good luck! We're both going to need it.

Ok, so my plan kinda worked. I wanted to keep your hot line of Franzen, Yashin, Draper off the score sheet which I did, but in doing so your first line murdered me Back to the basics (and Huet) for game 2!

The west was closer to what I was thinking, although Minny might have given a litlle more push on the mighty Flames.
Sharky first line especially Thorton finally woke up but that is what I thought might have happen for this series....
It fun here sitting in BSPN studios and playing and commentator while golfing all day.....Oh, the life of being a loser!
