Niemi keeps getting worse. I'd be more concerned about Stamkos

Niemi keeps getting worse. I'd be more concerned about Stamkos I have many concerns haha. I'll give Stammer a few more games with Gaudreau. I may break up Tavares and Voracek to create a more balanced attack.

Niemi keeps getting worse. This team is starting off very frustratingly. I'm having the same problem with Bishop. He hasn't been good at all. He's definitely in danger of losing the #1 job to Varlamov. #FirstWorldProblems

Not happy with only winning by 1 against an ahl roster. Record is good but it hides a lot of team problems- impotent PP, giving up way too many shots, and Rask problems. All in all a very imperfect first place team, so not resting on any laurels...

Now that's an ass kicking, thanks Ron I needed that. PS. Hey Joe, Rask is available if you wanna make it 6 pro goalies hell maybe a roster of only goalies is a sths loophole, it could work!

I'm just glad I got rid of Mason before he officially loses his starting job to Neuvirth.

Its still early of course but Neuvirth is on a two game shutout streak and I'm sure will get the next start after that. Mason started the first two games and did awful. Mason job is anything but secure right now on a team desperate to win.

Mason was one of the best goalies in the league last year and I don't think you lose your starting job because of one bad game, or more accurately one bad 7 minute stretch. The same logic would see Jonathan Quick out in LA and that's not happening. He didn't suck both games. He lost 3-2 in OT in the first game and stopped 29 of 32 shots against the defending Eastern Conference champions. One of the goals was a breakaway in 3 on 3 overtime after he'd already stopped a 2-0 breakaway a couple of seconds earlier. So I'm not worried. Barring injury I'm pretty sure one goalie in Philadelphia will play 50-55 games and I'm pretty sure his last name won't be Neuvirth.

Looks to me like Vancouver is trying to find the one goalie in the league that will help the team finally beat the Ducks... LOL

Its the Flyers I am sure 100 crazy things will happen with their goaltending before the season ends.

Big Win for the TB Lightning today!!! Sure it was a shoot-out, and sure it was against a back-up and sure it means LA takes the lead in the Auston Matthews sweepstakes but for one day the Lightning get to celebrate.
Plus GM Mooney favorite Jarome Iginla got a hat trick so win for the TB organization all around.
Another great game from Sean Couturier and impressive (although still sub .900 sv %) performance from Connor Hellebuyck.
The good times may only last until Monday against the Devils but for now the team has the weekend off and I am just going to come out and say:
ALL OTHER TEAMS SUCK, LIGHTNING RULE!!!!
