Saw Oil-NYI trade and thought I read "Lord Stanley" (instead of Logan).

Cool true "hockey trade", players-for-players by Wings-Sabres - well played, lads

Ya great trade. As both teams can attest I have tried to get both Morrissey and Olofsson several times. Great young players.

Ryan Murray is not that good, I think the trade is fine.

His stats right now for the J are awesome I'll give you that, and perfect for Chris because it's a 500k player, but beyond this year who knows. Lance got a good D prospect and a pick, and he has a lot in the pipeline right now

Ryan Murray is not that good, I think the trade is fine. Maybe I'm just stat watching too much? 9 pts in 27 or 29 nhl GP and -9,injured every year. I covet his ratings for this season and his salary. Works for now, hopefully. Everyone who sends me a prospect wish list for trade talks asks for Jett Woo. I actually thought Letang would went for more...

Murray 0 goals, 15 assists in 41 gp in J, to go with - 20 plus/minus fwiw.
Not sure what stat line is in question...

I realize the WPG pick could be #1 but that is one incredible deal imo for the canucks. Jesus I had to do a double take there, 3 great young established players for a pick that only could be Lafreniere, and Comtois? Doesn’t add up in my book

Doesn’t add up in my book I also took a double take on that and thought it was big gain by Canucks as value he got back was way above on chance, if I had the assets to do the same but if I came from Pitts side, if I did not get the 1st pick I want another first included before draft. But that's just me and my thought process.

Winnipeg has like a 12% chance of winning the lottery of the season finished today. That pick is a lot more likely to be 3rd-5th overall than 1st.

Ok maybe Spurgeon isn't that young but still a consistent 2 way guy on a solid contract. Bjorkstrand finally broke out this season and only 24, Horvat is a near 0.8 ppg 25 year old captain for pete's sake, improving each year. The more I look at this deal the worse it looks. Comtois is OKAY, and if you factor the pick not ending up #1, this deal might reaalllly smell down the road. To me, it's 70-30(edit) 85-15 in favor of Van, no joke.
