I had a hard time gettin anymore for him, because of the 4 Mil. He was on the block for a week- I had exactly no offers, and when mentioned in other deals he was not wanted. So I offered him to NY and after much discussion we settled on what you see Not meant to criticize you (and I did pass this deal so obviously I thought it was okay), but putting the two deals together and he gets a lot of talent without giving up much (if anything) of consequence off of his team. Great job by the Rangers GM and even if he doesn't make the play-offs he should be GM of the year for adding those assets for virtually nothing. (although it seems hard to seem how he doesn't make the play-offs.)

I tryed to get his 2nd, but that was like pullin teeth with a pipe wrench LOL

In the Nashville-Buffalo trade I was wondering if anyone who voted no would say why.
I was close on this one and think that I think the deal is unfair in favor of the team most think is getting the raw end of the deal.
Just wanted to see if I am once again out to lunch on a JGHL deal.

Just wanted to see if I am once again out to lunch on a JGHL deal. I think it's a fair trade, close enough. Seemed like some started voting no when Jon wanted to confirm if Nash knew he was gettin a ufa with a 1yr. contract.

Seemed like some started voting no when Jon wanted to confirm if Nash knew he was gettin a ufa with a 1yr. contract. It is close enough to be fair considering that both prospects areaway from playing( I believe ) and the pick is 3 drafts away and that player may not be playing for long time. Plus Nash may be making a run this year. So i think it is close enough for both. One GM waits a long time for his return and one get instant help, eve if for just one season.....

I'd replied back to Jon in PM, I realise what I'm giving up, but I'm making a big run this year.

Just wanted to state that I voted no on the Iginla deal. Looking at the names you gave up to get him and the names you're getting back for him, I think you could have/should have gotten much more!

No idea. I just passed it.
As for trade #2... first of all its Jarome, second, Kyle Turris is nowhere near his value even if he has a 2 year contract.

I could understand that and that may be the same route that Galarid may go or that 5th I gave up though, but that may be true.....but do not think it is enough to push it way over to a no

as for the iggy trade... kyle turris is once again struggling in preseason, and its looking more and more like he's simply not ready. is he ever going to be? who knows. but for a kid as small as he is, its going to be tough to gain the weight, muscle, and bulk he needs to play the game he was drafted to play. for the record i passed the deal, based purely on turris' potential, but overall i'd want a lot more for iginla, especially the parts around turris.
