Wow! Have to look at players to know who is who!
Well tough one today, could not match up 5 on 5, but PP had a good day with 3 goals.
Nice opening though playing a premier team in west and competing
That was a wild first period!

Great Thursday so far! Sun is shining in Toronto, Canes won their opener, jghl Leafs won theirs, and hopefully nhl ones will follow suit.
Penner is looking like hes gonna fit in just fine on the 2nd line, and Markov is handling the minutes well too. Biggest wtf is 0 points for the top line. I know its one game, but really wtf. Not what I gave up half my team for.

Wow, Stamkos sure had a great first game with 3 goals, 1 assist and 8 shots on net.

Obviously very happy with a 2-0 start, but it'd sure be nice to get a single point from a player not on the first line Speaking of which, if I keep them together all year Spezza, Burrows and Malone are gonna tear shit up!

Nice to win against one of our biggest rivals (the Flames). Would like to see more shots on goal. Stamkos with another 2 goals, now with 5 in 2 games. St. Louis has assisted on all of them, very happy I brought him in so far.

Marc-Antoine Pouliot is injured at 5:26 of 1st period (Severed Left Wrist Tendons)
Hey Sharky, tell your goons to stop skating over my star's arms.

His tendons are made of spaghetti. It's a considerable handicap.

This is annoying, I switch to a more defensive setup and still allowing a ton of shots against, including 24 shots in the 3rd period today against Dallas (which is a very disappointing loss).
This suspension for doing nothing to one of my defenseman is gonna cost me 2 games.

It seems like everyones defense in the West is not playing that well right now.

Chicago Coach DF Rating: 86 Dallas Coach OF Rating: 99 Chicago Strategy Slider: 1-2-2 Dallas Strategy Slider: 1-2-2 Possibly "cancel" each other out to some respect Other than Greene who was only a -1, and Hamhuis (2nd best DF) being suspended, you don't exactly have stalwarts back there with DF ratings of 73, 71, 68, 66 and 66 Even before this game you were averaging 30.6 shots against/game which would put you at 4th worst. It seems you need more adjustments than just a one game slider switch. Maybe a guy like Zanon could help
