It doesn't get any better than this, the trade deadline and a Marx Bros. marathon on TCM. Life is good ;D How old were you when the first Marx Brother's movie came out 30 or 35 ;D about minus 16

I think the Cal/SJ trade is nice deal for both in that Cal is trying to keep hold on the cup this year and great for SJ in that he gets a player that can give him some solid play for years and not wait for player to develop from trade like this that normally sends picks over which normally happen when UFA is trade.
Nice job guys even if some may vote because how it affects them instead of the how it affects league which it does not.

And i gotta say, theres NOTHING wrong with it. The best defenceman in the game, no matter what his contract, is worth a hell of a lot, even if its a young guy just hitting his stride with a sweet contract.

Nice move Jake. Nice return for him. Calg., improved big time on D, but could use a little help to the lower six forward lines, to keep that Cup

On a scale of 1-10, how pissed would you guys be (if it was financially feasible) if I traded Pronger to Chris? That's a 4-peat wrapped in a bow

Like I said to Chris, it's a bitter sweet deal for me. My goal this year is to win a round, and without Lidstrom, my chances of achieving that goal got a lot worse. On the other hand, my roster is pretty much set for next year and I'll have a bit of money to spend during FA.... maybe on Lidstrom! Watch out for the Sharks next season

Anything submitted before deadline, whether its posted in time or not, is still legal. Timestamp on the forum is all that matters

Wow! Not many people on here looking to make last minute move. I am thinking that some think they have until beofre tomorrow's games because of the line that states once these games are run is about bottom of today's games and on top of tomrrows games. I know I was not sure until Jon told me today. Caould I be the only one, thinking not with people saying this morning that they would get back to melater today.
Maybe since games are run earlier in day then past years, we can extend it until evening in case guys who are work who may think they have until tonite comeon and make that deal that so many wait on. Yeah I know they had enough time but if they thought something then they are in for surprize. JMHO!

Games getting run in about 3 minutes, trade deadline over
