Well he did have 202 hits so that explains his intensity. 64 blocked shots and led the Habs with 4:15SH minutes per game. I can see why he got the ratings he got.

Well I hope Holik is not the shutdown guy your looking to. I had him and shutdown very little especially if he did not have supporting cast.

I'll see what I can do with my roster. I'll shoot for 35 wins and a .500 record, perhaps I can work some magic. I've done it in passed leagues before, I do know how to match ratings on lines to get the best out of players. Just anxious to start the season.

but I see a shutdown center as someone who has a 80+IT,ST and a 75+DF. Just how I like rolling lines, have a big shutdown guy make the opposing teams top line disappear. There are only 5 players in this league with an IT of at least 80 AND a DF rating of at least 75. Three are dmen and only one is a center. And without looking it up, there's know way you'd ever guess who it was..... Is it Brin'Amour? ?

All I know is you better back it because these GM's are all solid and teams will be too. They are all for most part himble, but yet confident. But if you think it will be easy to get a playoff spot here especially with avergae goalie, you will be in for rude awakening! Anyway it is great to be involved but be careful because you will have live up to what you say and if you do not you will most likely be reminded. Like I said this is a league of alot of great GMs and I for onelook up to everyone of them for their knowledge of this game. Skate Softly but Carry a BIG Slapshot!!!!!!

Ya, I agree it will be tough and have lots of respect for everyone. Posting alot keeps things active on the boards though, quiet leagues are not that fun imo. Perhaps spark some rivalries with my confindence, it makes for a more enjoyable time.

The funny thing is I have played ridiculous players on my first line in the past. ST,IT and DF are what I like. I figure defense wins, just look at my coach. Should be a fun season.

J-F Jacques was a monster pickup for this franchise. Has so much raw talent.
6'4 230lbs Throws two hits a game, love the physical game Has that hands to pot 20-30 goals a year Has good speed and is very aware defensively
He is my FHL sleeper in my other league I think his ratings one day could be. 75-80IT 72SP 85ST 70PA 70-76SC 70-75DF
What more could you ask for in a power forward?

I got him at 217lbs, and I know he's young and doesn't really get much ice time, but no points in 26 games? Not even a single assist?
