sigh.... i really didnt want it going to 7, so man am i glad its done.. good series Kevin! I did LOL It was a good, tough series. 5 games were 2-1, with 3 of those in OT and the 6th game was 3-1. There were a total of 15 penalties, 6 on Toronot and 9 on the Canes. Not bad for a 6 game series. I guess it came down to a hot goalie running into a hotter goalie. While Luongo had a GAA of 1.81 and a save % of .937, JS Giguere's numbers were a tad better at .940 and 1.32 41 wins and a second round appearence was way more than I expected at the beginning of the season, with my defense being average at best. Good luck Leafs and the rest of the teams left. See you all at the draft.

Wow Pitt, you lost every game you outshot Isles, all you had to do today to win was to not shoot as much..... Nice series guys!!!! Fitting that it ended in OT!!!!

I'd be willing to bet that the game later tonight will also end in OT. Every game so far has been decided by 1 goal. Good luck to you Jon!
Congrats Phil, you didn't do it the easy way (14 game so far), but you got the job done and got to the conference finals.

Probably the same thing it did for the 02 Avs. Lots of back-cracking in the shower. And a loss. Does anyone else think it's wrong that Isles and I are counting sleeps until Friday so we can eat four patty burgers?

Great series Jon. I think I outscored you by just 2 goals in the whole series and shots were pretty even.
Now I have to hope for a miracle against Calgary.

I agree it was a great series, sometimes a little hairpulling and cursing was involved but it was a good one. Maybe next year we meet in round 3?

Things arn't going too smoothly against Calgary lol. They're just too deep. Every single line they put out can score. I've been able to shutdown the top line alright, but every game its either Malkin, Frolov or someone else lighting it up.
Holmqvist played well today, it definatly wasn't his fault we lost.
DiPietro will be back in net tomorrow. Shanahan has been demoted to the third line and Yashin brought up to the first. Maybe Shanny will play better on the 3rd and 4th lines.
