Selanne and Shanahan both woke up today. Teemu got a hatrick and Shanahan scored the game tying goal in the third. Hopefully they don't go back into torpor for game 4.
Malkin is killing me.

Huge win today for the Isles in OT, to even that series 2-2.

Got out played today, DiPietro held his own but we couldn't produce any offense. Its do or die time tomorrow! I need my top guys to play as well as Franzen and Draper have been playing.

At least I can say if it ends tomorrow that we didn't give Calgary that easy of a series I'm close to benching Shanahan. -3 today, -9 in the playoffs, 3 goals. Even worse than he was last year.

Nice win yesterday Jake! Didn't expect ya to go down without a great fight...should be great close to the series...good luck! Great fight in the East too! Amazing OT finish yesterday... On another note, since I didn't get a chance to check in while on vacation, I was very surprised Kev & the WIld went down in 5 - I was expecting to go to at least 6 games, but I'll definitely take the win... I think overall JGHL fans are definitely getting their simulated money's worth this playoff season!

good series Calgary, its going to take a miracle from the East to stop you from winning your 2nd cup.

No doubt! Not sure but looking at both Toronto and Isles, I am thinking Leafs are better suited and deeper to be able to compete even if it is just a little with the mighty Flames!
But maybe there is magic in the cardiac kids the Isles who can pull it off with the few studs Isles have, but it will be tough no doubt!
Should be a great game 7, most likely end in quad OT.....LOL

good series Calgary, its going to take a miracle from the East to stop you from winning your 2nd cup. Thanks Jake! For the past 2 games, whatever the NHL Flames did, the JGHL Flames did the opposite...When I checked the games this AM I was expecting we would be going to a game 7...glad to have it over with...With 4 dmen 80 ov or above & depth up front, I thought this was going to be a very tough test indeed - and the Sharks didn't disappoint... Wish I was as confident as you guys going into the Cup finals...while myself & coach Bobby Orr are very confident in our team's ability, we certainly don't take our prospective opponents lightly. Although the reg season results don't mean anything at this point, I would note that we had 1 W & 1 L against the heart attack Isles - they lack depth, but have 3 superstars at the 3 key positions, of course Crosby, former Flame Pronger & Lundquist. Then, we were 0-2 against the Leafs in the reg season. They definitely have the depth to match up well against us. Having said that, the Flames will be primed & ready for the start of the Cup finals in our quest for the Holy Grail of hockey...

whooooooo!!! boy was i nervous for this game 7... Great series Phil, we really left it all on the ice! as for Calgary, this is basically what i envisioned from the start of this season.. i knew i could get to the finals, but winning the finals was another thing cause i sort of guessed who id be facing.. i truly think this is as good a team as i will ever put together, and it also happens to be the last season ill have this team together.. only problem is, im about to face the best team iv ever seen put together, period. hopefully it will amount to a memorable series and ill def try to take it to at least 6 or 7 games.. get ready boys cause you're in for a battle!

Nice win today TO. Going down 0-2 in the first two games is what killed me against Calgary. After that I went 2-2, but that obviously wasn't enough. Splitting the Flames at home is great.
